Precision Crop Tech’s 3-Day Intensive Course is designed to complement your online course learning by providing hands-on training for your specific drone or the drone that you are intending to purchase.

Our training is provided by instructors who have over 6000 flying hours and who can help you get the most out of the technology for your particular applications.

Training is available in various locations across BC and custom training can be arranged in other provinces. If no courses are listed in your area or desired time, please add your information to the waiting list and we will alert you when new sessions become available.

The three-day hands-on course includes:

Flying and more flying (approximately 5-6 hours) on one of our machines or on yours
Safe crop spraying with a UAV
Mission planning and autopilot
Optimizing the delivery of materials sprayed
Workflow for an efficient spray operation
The UAV crop sprayer’s flight envelope
Battery management
Caring for your aircraft.
Prep for SFOC applications
Advanced Pilot License flight review by a Transport Canada-approved evaluator
Radio Operator’s Certificate – Aircraft (ROC-A)

PCT 3-Day Intensive Course is $3000. Customers who also purchase a drone from us can register for the course at a rate of $2000. Group rates can be negotiated.

Is my training date 100% set?

Due to the hands-on nature of these classes and the amount of actual flying that we want our students to experience, our training dates are weather dependant. We utilize the most reliable long range forecast that we have available to determine possible class dates and we keep an eye on any changes that may affect our training as we get closer to the class dates. Significant changes in the forecast may require one or more days to be rebooked in order for classes to meet the learning outcomes set for this course.

Booking accomodations for out of town attendees

Attendees are responsible for booking their accomodations if attending our training from out of town. Please note that schedule changes may occur with shifts in the weather forecast. Please ensure you have the capability to cancel or rebook your accomodations or wait until closer to the class if possible. Precision Crop Tech is not responsible for accomodation penalties for cancellations or date changes.
