Pilot Training Waiting List

Precision Crop Tech’s 3-Day Intensive Pilot Training for Agriculture course is designed to complement your online course learning by providing hands-on training for your drone or the drone that you are intending to purchase.

Our training is provided by instructors who have over 6000 flying hours and who can help you get the most out of the technology for your agricultural applications.

Training is available in various locations across BC and custom training can be arranged in other provinces at an additional cost. If no courses are listed in your area or desired time, please add your information to the waiting list and we will alert you when new sessions become available. The classes are primarily conducted outdoors and are weather dependant as we need flying conditions to be conducive to optimal learning.

The three-day hands-on course includes:

• Flying and more flying (approximately 5-6 hours) on one of our machines or on yours
• Safe crop spraying with a UAV
• Mission planning and autopilot
• Optimizing the delivery of materials sprayed
• Workflow for an efficient spray operation
• The UAV crop sprayer’s flight envelope
• Battery management
• Caring for your aircraft.
• Prep for SFOC applications
• Advanced Pilot License flight review by a Transport Canada-approved evaluator
• Radio Operator’s Certificate – Aircraft (ROC-A)

PCT 3-Day Intensive Course is $3000 CAD. Customers who also purchase a drone from us can register for the course at a 30% discount. Group rates can be negotiated.
