Getting the right nutrients into the fields to benefit plants normally requires application of large volumes of treatment.  We know that by approaching the field as part of the landscape and targeting what needs to be added to which parts of the field we can reduce the input requirements.  We also have sought out various manufacturers who have products that promote soil and plant health and that require low application volumes.  This represents the ideal we seek, landscape scale farm management with targeted applications of natural products or selected inter-row planting.

CONVENTIONAL FARMING

Our key aim is to reduce chemical loading in fields and this means reduced input costs for farmers. By targeting what is needed to effectively deliver the optimal crop, we can reduce input costs as well as speed up delivery of field treatments.  Our approach using high data resolution with careful mapping allows the farmer to make quick decisions. Our fully customised service using UAV crop spraying allows the farmer to maximise yield and effectively frees the farmer to focus on other tasks.

UAV CROP SPRAYING TRIALS We seek farmers who are open to running crop spraying trials.  We will use your selected chemistry that we consider suitable for UAV spraying and will set up trials to demonstrate the efficiency of UAV spraying. If you are interested in participating in trials we need to hear from you before the end of March 2018.

We are a group of scientist and engineers who have been serving the environmental and mining fields for the past 25 years.  Most of us have a background in environmental chemistry, agriculture and some are currently actively involved in farming.  Established in 2017, Precision Crop Tech has been focussed on bringing technology that we have tried and tested in the mining industry into agriculture.  We have throughout our careers advocated for the reduction of chemical applications where possible, and have focussed on natural solutions to enhancing field production as part of mine revegetation and crop growing.  We bring a unique set of skills and a clarity of thinking to deliver pragmatic solutions to reducing input costs and sustainably enhancing production.

Frequently working on landscape size projects we have the systems and experience to deal with large datasets and the ability to turn data into information that can be used for decision making.  Data processing, analysis, and development of solutions that bring desired outcomes, is what we do.  We use technology to collect the data and powerful GIS systems to process it.  The data visualisation capability is key to helping farmers to understand how their farms are performing and how and where performance can be improved.  We understand that carefully selected higher resolution indicator data is the key to reducing the input costs on a farm.
